A balanced cup with bright lemon acidity, nutty pecan sweetness, and a creamy mouthfeel. This coffee shines as a pour-over or batch brew, offering a clean finish with rich cacao nib undertones.

Start at sea level in Puerto Escondido, Mexico, and travel winding roads through villages where locals wear traditional indigenous clothing. You’ll reach the lush Oaxacan coffee-growing region, where small family farms cultivate coffee among bananas, corn, beans, and fruit trees with Pacific Ocean views below.

Nearly 40% of the farmers are women, relying on coffee income to support their families. They use organic practices to protect the land, depulping, fermenting, washing, and drying the coffee themselves. These producers work independently but need strong alliances to bring their coffee to the global market at fair prices.

Over 4,000 producers from 134 communities have joined Coordinadora Estatal de Productores de Café del Estado de Oaxaca (CEPCO), a cooperative providing access to credit, certifications, and infrastructure investments. CEPCO’s efforts help increase income, improve agricultural practices, and support better livelihoods.
